The Story of Moneylink Mortgage

Moneylink Mortgage was started by Michael Galasso. Growing up in Indiana, Michael was a born Entrepreneur. Whether it was his paper route or car washing businesses when he was younger, or his very successful businesses he started in College at Ball State, he has always had the fire to create his own destiny.

After college, he decided to move out of the cold of Indiana to live permanently in his Collegiate Spring Break Destination, Clearwater Florida! He found mortgages in 1994, and quickly became one of the top producers in the office he was started at. In 1996, he started his own branch of a National Mortgage Company here in the Tampa Bay Area. Well, there they quickly became the top branch in the Nation too! Well, his entrepreneurial spirit came alive again, and he decided to start his own company, Moneylink Mortgage, in 1999.

Business was booming throughout the early 2000s, but all good things must come to an end….and the housing crisis of 2008 took a toll on the Mortgage Industry as a whole. Many companies went out of business almost immediately….but not Moneylink! We never closed our doors and weathered the storm. Our honesty, personal integrity, and strong relationships with our clients and referral partners, helped us get through those tough times.

Now in our 20th year, Moneylink is stronger than ever. Still Family run and operated by Michael Galasso, and since 2013, his Son Tony Galasso, our services will be available to the beautiful State of Florida for many years to come. Our Realtor partners love us because we are known as the company who can “Get things done”, and we know they work on weekends, so we do too! Our clients love us because we truly take a holistic approach to their specific mortgage situation and find the right product for them.
